Dr Paulette Maroun - mbbs franzcog
Paulette Maroun is a gynaecologist practicing in Sydney's CBD.
She studied medicine at Sydney's University after having her two children and graduated in 1991.
Paulette Maroun joined obstetrics and gynaecology training with the Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG) in Sydney, after spending two years in unaccredited surgical training. She became an accredited fellow in obstetrics and gynaecology with RANZCOG in 2004.
She gained wider laparoscopic surgery experience at Flinders medical centre in Adelaide under the guidance of Dr Robert O'Shea and Dr Elvis Seman, both of whom are well known in the area of advanced laparoscopic surgery in gynaecology. She joined the Endometriosis society (ECCA) as a fellow in research into endometriosis with Dr. Michael Cooper and Dr. Geoff Reid. She presented results of research at the Australian Gynaecology Endoscopy Society (AGES) meetings between 2002-2005. She won an award for her presentations.
Paulette Maroun is a member of the Australian Gynaecology Endoscopy Society (AGES) and Asia Pacific Endometriosis Alliance (APEA). She speaks Lebanese and French.
